a welsh welcome to three new recruits
eastlake group has welcomed three new appointments to its Cardiff Bay based team. Michael Richards joins as a senior business development consultant, Danny Grace joins as a Sales Administrator while Samantha Mead joins as a new designer, as part of the company’s continued expansion plans.
Michael has over 12 years experience in sales following positions with Beacons Business Interiors Ltd, Drake Audio Visual, Nationwide Access and Mac-Western Computer Group. He leaves his position as new business development manager with Interaction Associates Ltd to take up the post with eastlake commercial interiors (eci). He will be responsible for implementing the focused business plan for Wales, contributing to the growth of the business, maximising the eastlake product and service portfolio and ultimately generating new business leads and enquiries from across a range of market sectors.
Samantha joins the eastlake design partnership (edp) arm of the group as a designer. She has always had a keen interest in design, graduating from Luton University with a BA in Interior Design and completing further computer design qualifications in 2004 and 2005. Samantha leave a four year post at Avid Design Consultants Ltd where she worked as both part of a team and individually on a variety of projects including design of retail, workplace, leisure and domestic interiors from initial proposal through to completion.
Danny, originally from Ireland but having studied at Cardiff, has moved back to Cardiff after a logistics role as an administrator within the clothing retail industry, working for Dunnes Stores. His role with eci is to support the sales team, contributing to the growth of the business and maximising sales performance, playing a pivotal role in the team.
The eastlake group has been expanding rapidly throughout the UK recently with the acquisition of a Leeds based manufacturing company and relocation from Barry to a new 2000 sq ft premises in Cardiff Bay. Eastlake also opened a US office in December 2007.
Speaking on the appointments Huw Moseley, managing director of edp said “the recruitment of these three talented individuals reflects eastlake’s current growth. Our company is going from strength to strength and we look forward to the contribution that Michael, Samantha and Danny will make to the group.”
